Community Involvement

In 2009 we had another successful year serving the Brevard Community. We donated a complete Trane system and ductwork to Nana’s House, sponsored numerous teams and clubs, and helped raised money for the Toys For Kids Foundation. We realized more than any previous year that 2009 was the time to give back to the community.

1. Early this year, after reading a newspaper article about an organization called Nana’s House, we decided to call and find out what this organization was all about. If you thought the article touched you about neglected, abused, and needy children, it was nothing compared to the love and passion that Kim, the President of Nana’s House, has for this cause. She went on to tell us Nana's House is a group children's home for neglected, abused, needy, or abandoned children, ages 0 - 18. These children will be provided for in every manner. Their mission is to provide a safe, secure, loving home where these children can come and experience God's love and healing. We were sold.
   
   So we meet Kim at the house in Palm Bay, ran a design heat load, concluded it need a 3 ton system, that the A/C in the house currently was no longer functional, and that it need ductwork. With that information we installed a Lennox XP 14 Heat Pump with a Variable Speed Air Handler unit. Hopefully this makes some children very happy when Summer 2010 comes around.
   
2. Secondly, we donated a free system to the Toy’s For Kids Foundation. This was our second annual auction. We auctioned it off on the air with 107.1FM on December 8 th, and raised $4,500.00. The Stahl residence won the auction and had a Trane XB14 Heat Pump installed in their home. We want to thank the Stahl family for the winning bid, and for helping children in this trying economic time have a little better Christmas.
